How to Change the Course of Your Life

My back is killing me     I am always broke

My mother in law hates me     My children are worthless

I am very unlucky             I don't think I will ever get …

This job is the worst      People around me are very spiteful

He/ she will never amount to anything

Proverbs 18: 21

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits

The tongue brings death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences.

Do you want…

Death: The action or fact of dying or being killed; the end of the life of a person or plant or animal.

A  devastating, heartbreaking event from which some people take years to recover.

Life: The capacity for growth, reproduction, functional activity, and continual change.

Proverb 18:21 is literally saying that the words you speak have the ability to give life to yourself, a person or a situation. However, they can also kill or destroy you, a people, things or a situations. This proverb is a simple reminder of how much your words matter. This is the proverbial double-edged sword. Out of your mouth you have the ability to change the course of your life.

We utter many negative words without thinking about the consequences. We need to use words to build up, to motivate and to encourage. In spite of what you may be going through, begin to speak life filled words. You have the power to effect change based on the words out of your mouth.. Change your life today. If you cannot speak anything positive, try not to say anything at all. Remember a tree does not grow in a day. The words you speak may not manifest immediately, but like any seed they will germinate and grow. Look at the picture above. Which side do you want? Choose wisely today and reap the consequences later!!
